A Huge Thank You to the People Behind the Magic 🤍
Before anything else, we want to give a very big thank you to Si — our manager, our captain, and the person who held everything together during one of the busiest months we’ve ever had.





January was intense, fast, and full, and Si operated everything with calm, intelligence, and heart. From leading the team, managing the flow, handling the pressure, to capturing so many of the beautiful moments you’ll see in these photos — she was everywhere. Smart, focused, and always thinking two steps ahead, Si leads by example, and Sababa simply wouldn’t run the same without her 🤍
We also want to give special appreciation to Chef Jeab, the heart of our kitchen. Strong, steady, and full of soul, she keeps the food consistent, powerful, and full of love — even on the craziest days. Her energy, leadership, and care for the team are felt in every plate that leaves the kitchen 🤍
And of course, our entire team — front and back of house — thank you. Long hours, full tables, big smiles, and teamwork all month long. You are the reason Sababa feels warm, alive, and real.


January 2026 at Sababa: Busy, Beautiful, and Full of Love
January 2026 was one for the books at Sababa Chiang Mai.
It was a crazy busy month — a LOOOOOTTTT of customers, full tables, nonstop orders, and the kind of energy that reminds us why we do what we do. From lunch rushes to late dinners, the restaurant was alive every single day.
Below are some moments from the month — the food, the vibe, and most importantly, the people who filled the space with good energy.
Food We’re Proud Of 🤍
Creamy hummus, crispy falafel, warm pita, smoky baba ghanoush, grilled chicken thighs, tofu kebabs, fresh salads, shakshuka, schnitzels — simple food, done with care, cooked with love.
These plates came out of the kitchen again and again, and seeing them land on your tables never gets old.
More Than a Team — A Family
At Sababa, we’re not just coworkers — we’re a family.
After such an intense and successful month, we made a small but important decision: we closed the restaurant for one day to celebrate together.
We wanted to give our team a moment to breathe, laugh, dance, and enjoy the festival side by side. Happy people cook better food, and taking care of our team is part of taking care of our guests.
